OWNER
Dr. Mike Clark graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with Honors in Restorative Dentistry after growing up in Naches. He returned home to establish Advanced Dental Care, a thriving dental practice in Yakima. Dr. Clark believes the most important aspect of care is establishing a relationship of trust and comfort with each patient. He enjoys both the technical and interpersonal aspects of dental care.
Passionate about the integration of cutting edge technology and dentistry, Dr. Clark has incorporated 3D scanning, CNC milling, and 3D printing into his practice. Advanced Dental Care patients receive same day crowns, implants, and other complex treatment plans. Dr. Clark enjoys traveling and lecturing regarding successful integration of technology in dental care. While he enjoys all aspects of patient care, Dr. Clark particularly relishes planning and executing complex cases and designing complicated multidisciplinary treatment plans integrating dental technology.
Dr. Clark is an active member and past president of the Yakima Valley Dental Society, where he has had the opportunity to hone his craft in a group learning environment for continuing education.
In his free time, Dr. Clark enjoys skiing, backpacking, and traveling with his wife and four children.

Dr. Derek Tew graduated with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry after growing up in the Yakima area. He returned to join the Advanced Dental Care team, where his gentle spirit and dry humor along with his professional skill are much appreciated. Dr. Tew enjoys working in a patient-centered practice, where treatment plans can be adjusted to meet the individual needs and circumstances of each patient. Having been long-time friends, Dr. Tew and Dr. Clark appreciate the camaraderie of working together and challenging each other to professional growth. While he relishes all aspects of family dental care, Dr. Tew particularly looks forward to oral surgery procedures. He appreciates the unique opportunity to relieve patients' pain and suffering. Advanced Dental Care patients can often be seen the same day or even after hours if their situation requires. In his free time, Dr. Tew enjoys wake-boarding, snow-boarding, and making memories with his wife and 7 children.

Samantha has been in the dental field for over ten years. Her favorite aspect of working in health care is the opportunity it gives her to meet and engage with wonderful people every day! She appreciates working with our patients and value the opportunity to assist them through the dental process.
When Sam is not at the office, you can find her spending her free time with her husband and their son, making the best memories together.

Jennifer has been with Advanced Dental Care since 2015, and began her dental career over 20 years ago as a registered Dental Assistant. She has spent the past 10 years in Administrative, as she started having her family, and recently became our Office Manager. Her favorite part of her job is helping and interacting with patients. Jen enjoys spending time with her family and traveling when away from work.

Stephanie has been in the dental field for over 30 years, and has been with Advanced Dental Care since 2014. She started out as a Dental Assistant and decided to focus on periodontal health. She graduated from YVCC dental hygiene program 25 years ago and loves her profession. She knows oral health is part of our overall health and works to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

Tammy graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University in 2002. With a desire to work in an underserved area, she came to Washington from the East Coast to work on the Yakama Reservation. After several years in the Public Health Service, she moved to Denver, CO where she had the opportunity to care for patients in a small, private practice for 10 years. She moved back to the Yakima Valley in 2017 and has been a dental hygienist at Advanced Dental Care for the past 4 years. Tammy loves helping patients feel comfortable and at ease as they receive dental treatment. She strives to continue learning and improving so she can give her patients the tools and knowledge to achieve optimal dental health. Tammy is married with four girls, who keep her busy with school, sports and music. She enjoys time with her church family, expanding her little farm, and exploring the Northwest in the family’s pop-up.

I’m a Jesus loving girl who was born and raised in Texas and relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2018. I began in dentistry as a dental assistant and soon after transitioned to the role of dental hygienist. From a young age, I had a strong aspiration to pursue this career path. Dental hygiene enables me to establish and nurture meaningful connections with individuals, which is one of my most favorite things. I also find immense joy in helping people maintain their oral health while also ensuring they feel confident about their smiles.
When I’m not at work, you will find me on a mountain hiking with my family, buried in a book, playing the piano for my church, or traveling.

Maricruz graduated from YVC with her BASDH in 2019, and joined Advanced Dental Care in 2020. She feels blessed to be working at ADC for Dr. Clark and Dr. Tew. Her work gives me the advantage of building long term relationships with patients and helping them improve their oral health through education. Mari’s greatest passion is to achieve a healthier smile in addition to reducing dental anxiety. She enjoys working at this office because we all strive to provide the best service for our patients. Her time outside of work consists of spending time with her family, reading, baking and hanging out with her fur baby Simba.

Brianne “Bri” grew up in the Yakima Valley, where she also attended the YVC Dental Hygiene program. She has worked as a hygienist locally for 18 years. She finds great joy in taking gentle, compassionate care of her patients and building strong relationships with them and her coworkers.
Outside of the dental office, Bri loves spending time with her husband Alex, and their two children, Mack and Ella, along with their large extended family. If she is not with them, you can usually find Bri with her nose in a book or with her hands in the dirt gardening.

Alejandra has been a Dental Assistant for 7 years, and has been with Advanced Dental Care since 2016. She enjoys being able to learn the various procedures and being able to interact with patients. Making memories with her family is what she loves to do in her spare time.

Yurico has been in the dental field for over 15 years, and has been with Advanced Dental Care since 2021. She started out volunteering and quickly realized she truly loved every aspect of the profession. In free her time, she loves spending time with her four kids and husband, playing sports, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Tori has been apart of the Advanced Dental Care team since 2023. She enjoys interacting with patients and providing quality dental care. Her greatest joy in her life is her daughter. and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.
